This work investigates the light illumination intensity, transmission performance, distribution on floor, and daylight factor of vertical hollow tubes at various incident elevation angles a source. The were made from commercial aluminum alloy sheets zinc to investigate internal illuminance for buildings reducing demand electrical energy artificial lighting. with constant length 0.5 m diameters 0.20, 0.25, 0.30 designed in testing room model, dimensions 1 × m. A 20-W light-emitting diode (LED) lamp was used as source lighting simulations, which placed away top tube. angle changed between 0° 80° 5° increments. It found that incidence had an influence intensity both ends average performance material types increased increase tube diameter 0.20 promotes greater when compared each condition. measurement demonstrates could be included systems some deeper or windowless areas decrease consumption buildings.
